Washing machine repair in Los Angeles
Washers fail in a handful of predictable ways: drain pumps clog, lid locks and door latches wear out, drive belts and motor couplings break, and control boards drop errors. Our technicians carry the common parts and finish most washer repairs in one visit.
Front-load washers
Not draining is usually a coin, sock or hair clip in the drain pump — a quick clear — or a failed pump. Leaks come from the door boot, the drain hose or the detergent drawer. Loud spin cycles point to bearings or a damaged spider arm, which the technician evaluates honestly against the age of the machine.
Top-load washers
Won't agitate or spin usually means a lid switch, a drive belt, a motor coupling or a worn clutch. A washer that fills but stops is often the lid lock or the timer/control board. Water hammer and slow fill are inlet valve or supply screen issues.
Error codes
Modern washers tell you what is wrong: OE and E24 for drain, UE for unbalanced load, dE for a door problem, F-codes on Whirlpool and Maytag. Give the dispatcher the code when you book and the technician arrives with the likely part.
What the technician checks

Price and warranty
The service call is $69 and is applied to the repair when you go ahead. After the diagnosis you get the price for parts and labor up front, and nothing is done until you approve it. Every repair carries a 90-day warranty on parts and labor; sealed-system repairs on refrigeration and HVAC carry 6 months; HVAC installations carry 1 year. Seniors and military — mention it when you book.
Questions about washer repair
My washer smells — can you fix that?
Usually it is a clogged drain pump filter or a moldy door boot. We clean or replace them and show you the monthly maintenance that keeps it away.
Is a bearing replacement worth it?
On a premium front-loader under 8 years old, often yes. On a budget machine, usually no — the technician gives you the numbers and lets you decide.
Do you repair stacked and laundry-center units?
Yes, including stacked washer-dryer sets and all-in-one washer-dryers.
